Terms of MasterCard Gold credit card usage agreement of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch will change starting from 22 May 2010

In connection with the enforcement of the Payment Institutions and E-money Institutions Act on 22 January 2010 the provisions of the Law of Obligations Act regulating the issue of credit cards were amended. As a result, the terms of MasterCard Gold credit card usage agreement of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch will change starting from 22 May 2010. Among other amendments, the provisions regulating the safety of the card usage and currency conversion were specified. Also the term for notifying the customers who are consumers of amendments made to the terms of the credit card usage agreement and the term for ordinary cancellation of the agreement by the bank were amended (both terms were prolonged until two months instead of previous one month period).

 

Customers who disagree with the amended terms, are entitled to cancel the agreement by applying to AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch's office no later than on the 21st of May 2010. If the customer has not informed of his/her wish to cancel the agreement(s), the customer is deemed to have agreed with the amended terms.
