In connection with the enforcement of the Payment Institutions and E-money Institutions Act on 22 January 2010 the provisions of the Law of Obligations Act the regulation on rendering payment services was amended. As a result, the terms the General Terms of Bank Account Agreement, the settlement terms and the Internet Bank Usage Regulations of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch will change starting from 22 May 2010. Among other amendments, the provisions regulating the liability of the bank as the provider of payment services were specified. Also, the term for notifying the customers who are consumers of amendments made to the General Terms of the Bank Account Agreement and the Internet Bank Usage Regulations terms and the term for ordinary cancellation of the agreements by the bank were amended (both terms were prolonged until two months period).
Customers who disagree with the amended terms, are entitled to cancel the agreements by applying to AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch's office no later than on the 21st of May 2010. If the customer has not informed of his/her wish to cancel the agreement(s), the customer is deemed to have agreed with the amended terms.
