New General Manager of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch is Taavi Laur.

New General Manager of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch is Taavi Laur.
 
Starting from the 1st of January 2008 a new General Manager of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch is Taavi Laur.
Before Taavi Laur joined AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch, he had worked on different positions in banking since 1997. During last three years Taavi Laur was a Member of the Board and Sales Director at SEB Ühisliising (leasing & factoring) and a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SEB Ühisliising Insurance Broker.
 
Taavi Laur graduated from the International University of Social Sciences “Lex”,where he obtained a diploma of law.
 At the moment, Taavi Laur is doing MBA at Tartu University.
A previous General Manager of AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch Frank Marcus is a Member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of AS „UniCredit Bank“.
The Board of Management, leading the Bank’s activities in all 3 Baltic countries, consists of 5 persons: Chairman of the Board of Management is Juris Jākobsons, Members of the Board are: Algimantas Kundrotas, Torsten Tegtmeier, Wilfried Seemann and Frank Marcus.
 
Following the branding strategy of UniCredit Group to create Pan-Baltic bank in all three countries, on the 1st of September 2007 AS “UniCredit Bank” took over the business of HVB Bank AG Tallinn Branch and HVB Bank AG Vilnius Branch. Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA), the Vienna-based center for CEE business of UniCredit Group, had become a sole shareholder of AS „UniCredit Bank“.

 
By keeping the main focus on corporate customers, AS UniCredit Bank Estonian Branch is planning
to continue to operate in such areas as commercial real estate financing and business financing.
The bank also starts offering leasing services.
